The Penzes Lab at Texas A&M University is inviting applications for a graduate student position (MS/PhD) in structural virology and virus discovery. The lab specializes in viruses infecting invertebrates, and offers a great opportunity to train in cryo-EM.

🔍 Key Details:
• Discover and study novel viruses in insect hosts
• Analyze viral structure and evolution
• Train in structural biology and molecular techniques

🎓 Eligibility:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Biochemistry, Virology, Entomology, etc.
• Experience in PCR, cloning, electrophoresis
• Familiarity with Linux command line & bioinformatics preferred
• Good communication skills & willingness to learn
